The Old Testament is as inspired as the New Testament. But many are still unaware why Ot?
Most Christians and choose Verses the Bible to follow and miss. The Old Testament lays the foundation for education and events in the New Testament. First, the Old Testament is of great importance for Christians because it is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Some Christians ignore the Old Testament and focus on the news, but only those who read New Old light can really learn what God says in His Word. The Old Testament gives the blessing both the shadow revealed in the New Testament (Hebrews 10: 1).
The Old Testament is very important because that the Old Testament says that the beginning of the earth and the human race, which records God's dealings with men in the past, provides evidence to support of our faith, the evidence that God exists and there is one true God, the evidence demonstrates that The Bible is the Word of God and inspired by God, the evidence demonstrates promise of our Savior Jesus Christ in the New Testament shows the character and basic human needs have not changed, a complete picture of the plan the salvation of God reveals incredible understanding of the Old Testament helps us understand and appreciate the New Testament also shows that the nature of God has never changed. Without OT We would not be able to know what pleases and what irritates him and thus establish a better relationship with him. We also know from the Old Testament that God has always been good and merciful, holy and righteous, condemning, rewarding good and evil, omniscient and all-powerful, worthy of praise and worship, faithful to his promises, etc. The Old Testament is the Word of God that the New Testament. God speaks to Throughout the Old Testament. Without the Old Testament we can not understand why the Messiah came Isaiah 53) and was not able to identify Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah through the many detailed prophecies that were given an envelope, for example, place of birth (Micah 5:2), his manner of death (Psalm 22:1, 7-8, 14-18, Psalm 69:21), His resurrection (Psalm 16:10), and many other details of his ministry (Isaiah 52:19, 9:2).
God said very clearly that the punishment of sin is death, by a flood to destroy all life. But after the flood, he has promised not to let history repeat itself. Does it mean that man would be free of sin that God would Never adjust their anger on the news of humanity? the wrath of the gods not just say in the Old Testament it is said, even in NT as well. (Acts 5:1-10). Throughout the Old Testament, we see the trial of God and the anger spilled over sin. Similarly, the New Testament we see God's wrath is still "revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness captive "(Romans 1:18). So, clearly, God is not different from the old Testament it is in the New Testament.
There many prophecies of the Old Testament were fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. achievement of Jesus the law does not give us license to sin or reason to ignore the Old Testament. He fulfilled the law for the ultimate sacrifice, and now the high priest ultimately our bodies can be temples. Jesus used the Old Testament to show the disciples that he was the Christ foretold in the Old Testament (John 3:14, Numbers 21:9). Paul warned those who continue in the old law should continue in all this (Galatians 3:10). In both Testaments, we find everything we have need for eternal life and a godly life (2 Timothy 3:15-17). Both OT and NT are inspired by the Spirit Holy Spirit (Hebrews 10.15 to 17)
The apostle Peter also says the Inspiration of the Old Testament. In 1 Peter. 1.10 to 11, said:
As for the prophets hello sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you: looking at what time and what kind of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them at the point when he said beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow?
Jesus accepted all the AT and NT in it that the word of God and that no part of the Bible can be ignored. Jesus quoted the Scriptures of the Old Testament permanently to his disciples to teach and to criticize Jewish pharmacies. She laughs: "Have you not read what was spoken by God" (Matthew 22:31) and "Are you not a mistake they do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God" (Mark 12:24). He also used the stories of the Old Testament to teach, "Have you not read what David did?" (Matthew 12:3).
Jesus said that the Old Testament was inspired by God regarding the Scriptures as "the commandments of God" (Matthew 15:3) and that the word of God "(Matthew 15:6). Christian also has taught the infallibility of Scripture, when he said: "So heaven and earth pass away not the smallest letter or stroke is transferred of the law until all is accomplished "(Matthew 5:18) and" the Scripture can not be broken "(John 10:35).
Jesus also confirmed a large number of historical narratives of the Old Testament, such as the destruction of Sodom and the death of Lot's wife (Matthew 10:15, Luke 17:29-32), the murder of Abel by his brother (Luke 11:51) Cain, the vocation of Moses (Mark 12:26), given the manna in the desert (John 6:31-51), and the trial of Tyre, Sidon and Sodom (Matthew 11:20-24).
Jesus himself confirmed most of the time dismissed the stories of the Old Testament, like the creation story of Adam and Eve (Matthew 19:4-6), Noah and the Flood (Matthew 24:37-39), and three days Jonah spent in the belly of the fish (Matthew 12:40).
Jesus has always believed and obeyed the Scriptures of the Old Testament. Never change the law or never come to destroy the only true law.
Some false preachers of the Gospel and teach different gospels of corruption, they are more concerned about the popularity of pure comfort in their sin instead of calling them to repentance and they will tell people what they want heard.
I also saw a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: they commit adultery and walk in lies, but also strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil. They are all like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah "(Jeremiah 23:14).
Beware of false prophets, preachers and priests who tickle the ears of criminals itching (2 Timothy 4:3,4).
Thus saith the LORD of hosts: "Do not mind the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you useless to talk a vision of his own heart, and not from the mouth of the Lord "(Jeremiah 23:16).
Due to the negligence of false prophets, people do not repent: "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not talked to them, they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then will return from their evil way and evil their actions "(Jeremiah 23:21,22).
Jesus was born a man but also God perfectly fulfilled the law. He had himself no sin, but He dutifully paid the price of the curse on the man under the perfect law of God. Atonement for sin has brought to life by the disobedience of Adam has been paid by the Lamb of God for obedience death on the cross. On the cross he took upon himself the curse for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree "(Gal 3:13). Satan with the wolves in sheep's clothing has corrupted the Gospel.
Both are the Old Testament and New Testament that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God. Because it is inspired and worthy of trust, must be read and applied our lives. The Bible is our standard for testing everything he says is true. It is our safeguard against false teaching and our source of advice on how we live. It is our only source of knowledge on how we can be saved (2 Timothy 4:16-17).
